Medi-cal and inheritance?

this is my problem, I am currently on med-cal since my husbands job does not offer insurance. My grandmother ped away and left me inheritance. I have not claimed the money (its in a trust). What happens if I take the money? I had a baby last year would they take from that from the inheritance as well? I'm confessed on what I should do in this situation.
