Weird sunspots, how can i fix it?

lately ive noticed that my skin around my legs and around the pooch of my stomach has been getting a weird patchy, splotty like pattern, i looked up sunspots and they are dark brown spots, my skin looks way different than that. You can't really notice it unless your infront of me. the skin is like one part is tan and the other part is a hair lighter. i know i dont have vertilago. its sun spots, anyways ive been wearing sunblock everytime i go out to the beach, and i barely go in the first place. its just under around my belly on and upper part of my thighs. what is it exactly and how can i help my skin to be a nice one complection?
