I have a kids bday coming up and want a recipe for cookies that don't expand as i want to make shaped ones...

I made some lovely peanut er cookies once. They didn't expand too much. I don't measure things though. Self raising flour, Icing Sugar, Peanut er (smooth or crunchy) or regular er if you have nut allergy. A little milk to mix into firm but pliable dough. I rolled mine up in cling film and put it in the freezer till it was time to cook but as you are shaping them in to letters it would probably be a better idea to make the letters up then put them in the fridge. bake in the oven at 160oC.
