SHOULD i get back TOGETHER with HIM? please help me out!?

ook i went out with this guy, for about a month and a half. we broke up like 3 weeks ago. because at the time, his sister was living with him and she needed his truck for her work and he never had it so we could never do anything. thats the main reason we broke up. i didnt stop liking him and i dont think he stopped liking me but im not sure. so we didnt talk at school (highschool) for two weeks and it was really awkward. but then last sunday, we went on a school trip and me and him hung out like all day and talked quite a bit. it went good. then on the way home i sat by him on the bus and laid on his shoulder all the way home, which was like an hour and a half. and he acted good with it and everything. like, while i was leaning on him, one of my friends told me she looked at him and was like aww how cute! and she said he like smiled really big and acted all happy and stuff. sooo yeah since then weve talked every day at school and gotten along really well. he acts like he likes me again, and i really like him alot. should i ask him if he wants to get back together? like, i really want to but i dont know if he does and i dont want to look stupid, ya know? and i know he wont talk to me about it because hes really shy. do you think talking about to him like on wednesday would be to soon? and should i even try to get back together with him in the first place? what do you think? thanks!
