How long does it take for waxy build up from over conditioning hair to wash out?

I would go to a good salon and get a cleansing shampoo blow dry, that way if your does get damaged, you can go back and have them fix it for free and you won't have to keep buying many different kinds of cleansers to help your hair. If you have problems with build-up and wax, please do not ever use pantene, herbal essences, or v05, these products contain high amounts of wax and make your hair dull and heavy after about a week and it takes forever for the wax to come out!
