Do you know the name of this hop hop group from richmond, CA?

I'm trying to remember the name of this local hip hop group that did shows in the early 2000s around the bay area. I saw them perform at Kips in Berkeley, when they opened up for groundbasics but can't remember their name. I think there was 3 or 4 of them and they were from El Cerrito or Richmond and the word cypress keeps coming into my head, but I know they're not cypress hill. If you can name this group, my brain can finally be at ease. It's been bugging me for the past week or so.
